Illusion of Life, Inc.
At Illusion of Life, Inc., I worked alongside co-founders Pasquale D'Silva and Kevin Fischer on the creative and character development behind Spark, the company's AI-hybrid animated character. Drawing on my background in stop-motion, entertainment robotics, and generative AI, I helped shape how Spark moves, feels, and connects with people in the real world. Backed by Spark Capital, HF0, and the Katzenberg Foundation, and in partnership with Boston Dynamics, we ran over 300 live trials across events in Miami, San Francisco, Los Angeles, and Burning Man. We also established a grant program with Portland, Oregon’s Park Rose High School's non-verbal autistic class, exploring how Spark could open new doors for communication and connection.
