Dominic Cardoso is the Head of Assembly at Animax Designs based in Nashville, where he runs the assembly of all robotics for clients such as Disney, Universal Studios, Weta Workshop, Pixar, and Nintendo.

Previously, Mr. Cardoso was a Production Designer creating content for NASA and supervised all practical effects for a BBC children’s show shot on the film sets of Marvel at Pinewood Studios.  He began his career in the Rapid Prototyping and Art Department at LAIKA Animation Studios.

After finishing high school, he eventually made his way to Eugene, Oregon, where he attended the University of Oregon studying at the College of Design.

Other notable works: Murals for Breakside Brewery, robotics for Feld, art fabrication for FISK, documentary for Freedom University, interior design for Kung POW!, hackathons at MIT Media Lab, product testing for Nike, lecture at RISD, filming with Steer, and set designer for Toro y Moi.
